Eastlink Centre

Eastlink offers a wide variety of activities that caters to many lifestyles. The facility has a lot of natural light and is clean (you can almost always see someone cleaning). The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Eastlink is a great place to bring your family. I did not give a five star review because the schedule for public swim is limited and not always convenient.

Amazing place for families, friends to relive some childhood fun! Just wish there were more tunbes for the lazy river but pool noodles were an okay substitute. Water slides were and absolute blast!! Surfing area was a hoit even just watching trying to decide if old hips would survive 🤣. Lifeguard staff were very on the ball keeping excited kids on track with the rules which was nice to see. Safety first

Don't book your PARE test here. Initially, the course was full, so I "waitlisted" and reached out to Lana via email to see if there were any other options. She told me that there were usually people who cancelled, and there was a possibility of them expanding the number of registration spots. I later spoke to a staff member on the phone who told me there was a cancellation, and I paid the $140 over the phone. The staff member said it was booked for December 17th at 2:10. This seemed strange given that the website said testing went from 10-1 but with it being full and having been told by Lana that registrations could be expanded I did not question it and assumed I had one of the last test slots. Imagine my surprise when I show up "early" at 11:00 (intending to watch other tests, hydrate, and stretch before the test) and am given a stern look by Lana. She quite rudely told me that I was "way too late". She had already started to walk away from me when I told her that I was told on the phone that it was booked for 2:10. She sourly told me "the website says all applicants must be here before 10. I have two people left and we are done". This was extra confusing given that it was barely 11:00, and the website specifically stated testing was from 10-1. Admitting defeat, I asked if I could stay and watch the other tests in an attempt to make the most of a bad situation. She gave me a look of disgust that made my stomach turn and said "I guess you can watch". There were other people there whom I knew watching this whole interaction. I was feeling thoroughly humiliated and disrespected at this point, so I left. The whole thing has been enough that I am also going to cancel my monthly membership and go elsewhere. I also want to add that I looked on the website for some formal complaint resolution process, as I would have preferred to take that route first, and the only option appears to be emailing "info(at)cityofgp(dot)com". I had very little faith would make it to anyone that mattered, so here I am. I expected better from a facility funded and operated by the city.

Can't get through for bookings online. When they say updated online means they did not. The website for bookings says call in to book. No phone number to get through to bookings. Terrible operations managers, staff in general are no good. Brutally ran facility compared to other places that have this type of center. They close their pool mat anytime without warning. You shouldn't have to call ahead to find out a schedule for the pool. Especially being closed from 1pm-6pm on a Saturday. You have been warned about their brutal operations...
